In 2018, The Modern Milkman emerged with a bold vision: reinvent the traditional milk round for the digital age. By 2020, their rapid growth demanded a tech upgrade. That's where we came in.

The challenge was clear. Their off-the-shelf driver app couldn't keep up. They needed a custom solution to power their expanding network of overnight deliveries. No small task.

We got to work. Our team shadowed drivers, spoke with staff, and analysed The Modern Milkman's operations. Our goal was to create an app that would streamline their delivery process.

The result? A robust, cross-platform mobile app that just works. It integrates mapping, inventory, and customer service seamlessly. Offline-first design ensures reliability even in signal dead zones. Night after night, it powers tens of thousands of deliveries across the UK.

Our app became a crucial pillar in The Modern Milkman's operations. Since then, they've hit some impressive milestones:

  • Eliminated plastic equivalent to 250,000+ wheelie bins
  • Named the UK's fastest-growing company from 2020 to 2022
